Book Talks

About Book Talks: BookTalks are given by Louise Moises, co-owner of The Bookstall. Louise is a graduate in Speech & Drama from San Jose State University and an experienced speaker & performer. She has been active in the book business for 25 years and has given lectures, talks, puppet shows, storytelling and one-woman performances throughout the Bay Area.

The talks can be geared to any level of interest or age group. Length of the talks can be adjusted for the time allowed for your event.

Each talk is accompanied by a display of representative books.(Louise believes that an actual book is more exciting than a slide representation.)

Cost: Minium fee for a talk of 45 minutes to 1 ½ hours is $250.00. For areas out of 50 mile radius of San Francisco, transportation cost is added.
Half day and full day and weekend events are also available. Fee to be arranged.

Types of Groups: Talks are appropriate for library associations, schools, fraternal organizations, historical organizations, collectors groups, private homes.
